CAU Electrically Modulated ME Sensor
The FLC 100 magnetic field sensor is a miniature fluxgate magnetometer with high field resolution for measuring weak magnetic fields up to 100 μT. The FLC 100 sensor is a complete magnetometer, which provides an output voltage proportional to the actual magnetic field component. The sensor does not require any external driver circuits. Due to the simple supply voltage of 5 V and the extremely low current consumption. The supply and signal lines are connected to solder points in a 0.1 inch pitch. When using multiple sensors in a system, the excitation frequencies (typ. 17 kHz) can be synchronized by connecting the SYNC connectors.
The FLC 100 is available in two versions with axial and transverse read out coil.
Further information:
- measuring range: ±100 µT
- simple 5 V power supply
- only 2 mA current consumption
- low noise: less than 5 nTpp (0.1 to 10 Hz)
- bandwidth: DC to 1 kHz (-3 dB)
Sensitivity
Currently, no sensitivity data is available.
Calibration
Currently, no calibration procedures are available.
Equalization
Currently, no equalization data is available.
Typical Use Cases
For sensor operation special power supply boxes are available, which could operate multiple sensors. Typically the analog sensor output is connected to a 24-Bit DAQ (audio interface, NI 9239) for recording purposes.
